Design and Planning for your Project Our Design Consultant has a wealth of experience in translating the ideas and needs of individuals and families into workable designs that suit their lifestyle, budget and expectations. You may know exactly what you want, or you may need some help developing your ideas. Either way, we are here to help. We offer our design services in two stages to provide you with peace of mind that you are not committing to a design or a project that you are not sure about yet! Stage 1 – Initial Design, Survey and Quote Over a series of meetings with our Designer and the Managing Director of Amerex, we collate your ideas, provide advice using our building and design experience and knowledge, and offer additional ideas to shape your project. We organise a Site Contour Survey, create an initial Design and provide a Quote for construction. Stage 2 – Drawings, Approvals, Licences Our Designer incorporates any changes you may have on to the initial design and creates your Working Drawings. We then take care of all the council approvals and licences by dealing with all of this for you. This comprehensive service includes gaining Planning Approval, a Building Licence, organising an Engineering Design, and ensuring that all necessary copies of documents and drawings are submitted. Prestart....a helping hand to add value to your home Your pre-start pack will provide all you need to get going and make your selections. We understand that some of the decisions and selections can feel overwhelming. To assist you at this stage, and to further prove that we are committed to making your project a success, we are pleased to offer the services of professionals that are experts in their field. These professionals work together with both you and the Amerex team to achieve the best possible results for you and your project. As such, we are proud to offer the services of specialists such as:

The Managing Director – Steve Burke – is the Project Manager of all Amerex projects, and together with an experienced and approachable Site Supervisor your project is continually managed and professionally supervised. Meeting your expectations and ensuring high quality of workmanship at all times are of paramount importance at Amerex.

Our on-site team of Carpenters, General Hands and other tradespersons are all hand-picked to ensure the best skilled people available are working on your home. All Amerex staff are mindful that they are on your premises and treat all clients and their homes respectfully and courteously at all times. This includes keeping the site as tidy as possible and ensuring that any special requests by you are complied with.

At all times during your project you have access to the Managing Director and the Site Supervisor, there is no middle man! We keep you informed of progress and will happily provide a guided and safe walkthrough of your site with you at any stage of the project.
