Susan and Leon contacted Amerex when Susan was pregnant with their third child. Their growing family meant that their house was bursting at the seams. They needed a builder who not only would realise their vision of a larger family home but also recognise that building would take place around their busy family.

Susan and Leon transformed their two bedroom 1930s character house in Mt with Amerex's assistance. Their 4 bedroom, kitchen, 2.5 bathroom, living, meals and large alfresco area was completed around the family's activities and in plenty of time for the arrival of their new daughter.

As architects, Tanya and David wanted a builder who would work with them to create an addition that remained true to their creative vision whilst meeting the highest standards in construction.

He utilized his many years of experience in working with old houses to create an addition that stands out due to the cutting edge finishes and attention to detail.

"Amerex were a pleasure to deal with. All of the guys were helpful, courteous and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. Ours was a tricky first storey renovation with plenty of detailing. There were access issues, 'old house' issues and weather issues (not to mention that the client was also the architect). Steve had his tradesmen and his processes well-organised such that the project ran without a hitch and was completed from start to finish in 5 months.
Given the current frenetic state of the building industry, to be able to say that our job was finished on time, on budget and without any of the nightmares that other people are experiencing, is a credit to Steve and the Amerex team.
